ProCon was proudly represented at the “Incontinence: The Engineering Challenge” conference, organised by IMechE Learning and Development, an international meeting that brings together researchers, clinicians, engineers and users to explore cutting-edge solutions for continence care.
ProCon Framework Presented
During the poster session, Dr. Hannelore Strauven (KU Leuven, Belgium) presented the ProCon Framework for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Nursing Homes, highlighting how the Framework supports organisational change, promotes innovation culture, and helps long-term care teams improve continence care practices.
Alongside the ProCon contribution, Dr Strauven also presented her own research on unobtrusive monitoring technologies to support continence care in nursing homes, sharing challenges, opportunities and insights gathered from her work.
Award: “Communication Highly Commended”
In addition ProCon poster received the award “Communication Highly Commended”, recognising the clarity, relevance and impact of the Framework within the continence innovation landscape.
