Objectives

The overall objective of PROCON is fostering innovation in nursing homes, specifically in the promotion of continence care. This will be pursued by achieving the following specific objectives (SO):

SO-1

To co-create and disseminate a framework of recommendations to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in nursing homes following the Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp).

SO-2

To develop and pilot a technological solution to support continence care in nursing homes via the analysis of sensor data.

SO-3

To co-create a course on innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare and train Higher Education Institutions and Vocational Education and Training students.

SO-4

To co-create a course and train nursing homes staff as well as Higher Education Institutions and Vocational Education and Training students on resilience skills and flexible work practices.

SO-5

To co-create a course and train nursing homes staff as well as Higher Education Institutions and Vocational Education and Training students in continence care in nursing homes.

SO-6

To analyse the effects of the PROCON training program (WP3 courses) on the reduction of urinary incontinence in nursing homes through a multinational pragmatic study conducted in Barcelona (Spain), Alberta (Canada), Leuven (Belgium) and Turku (Finland).
