Objectives
The overall objective of ProCon is to foster innovation in nursing homes, with a specific focus on improving continence care. This will be achieved by addressing the following Specific Objectives (SOs), click below to read more:
To co-create and disseminate a framework of recommendations to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in nursing homes, based on the Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp).
To evaluate and explore the use of ambient intelligence to promote continence care in nursing homes through the analysis of sensor data.
To co-create a course on innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare, and provide training for students from Higher Education Institutions and Vocational Education and Training programmes.
To co-create a course on resilience skills and flexible work practices, and provide training for nursing home staff as well as students from Higher Education Institutions and Vocational Education and Training programmes.
To co-create a course on continence care in nursing homes and provide training for nursing home staff as well as students from Higher Education Institutions and Vocational Education and Training programmes.
To analyse the effects of the ProCon training programme (WP3 courses) on reducing urinary incontinence in nursing homes through a multinational pragmatic study conducted in Barcelona (Spain), Alberta (Canada), Leuven (Belgium), and Turku (Finland).
