From December 9 to 11, 2024, the PROCON project officially kicked off with a dynamic meeting in Vic at University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia— bringing together partners from across six countries for three days of collaboration, inspiration, and planning!

During this energizing gathering, we:

• Connected and shared our visions for transforming continence care in nursing homes
• Took part in hands-on workshops and engaging discussions to shape the project’s path
• Mapped out key activities—from cutting-edge research and innovative training to technology integration
• Developed strategies for quality assurance, dissemination, and maximizing impact
• Enjoyed team-building moments, including a memorable city tour of Vic!

This kick-off meeting laid a solid foundation for ProCon’s collaborative journey ahead. The enthusiasm, commitment, and shared dedication of all partners confirmed that we’re ready to make a real difference in the lives of nursing home residents and caregivers. Our next partners’ meeting is scheduled for October 2025 at the University of Turku, Finland — continuing our joint efforts to drive innovation in continence care.
